Good Morning to everyone!
Wanted to let everyone know that we did make it back home here in the South safe and sound. More importanatly I wanted to say thank you to everyone who attended Fort Knox and came by to pay us a visit at the sutlery, Your freindship and business are very important to us! Thank you for all those of you that spent some of your hard earned $$$ at our tent. You did in fact make our trip worth while!
Yes we will bring the big tent back up again, I cant promise that it will be next year but you never know. If we did not have something that you were looking for drop us an email and we will try and have it next time. If you found exactly what you were looking for at our tent we would like to hear about that as well!

CONFEDERATE RAIDER CAPTURES AND BURNS THE USS John Paul Jones
July 20,1864,Penobscot Bay
CONFEDERATE RAIDER CAPTURES AND BURNS THE USS John Paul Jones
...In a bold move, the Confederate raider Alabama appeared out of the fog to
capture and burn the gallant USS John Paul Jones as she entered Penobscot
Bay. The John Paul Jones’ spare rigging and a mast were taken to repair
damage to the raider.
The crew of the USS John Paul Jones were allowed to take to their life
boats and watched as their proud ship burned to the waterline and slipped
beneath the waves.
News of the defeat has reached the CSS Must Roos and Captain Tom now feels
victory at Fort Knox could belong to the South. Without the John Paul

Calling ALL Confederates to MAINE!
Calling all Confederate forces!
The Union is assuming the shipping lanes in Maine are safe from attack due to troops at Fort Knox... they have reinforcements coming from as far away as Florida and Michigan!
It is up to YOU to come prove them wrong! We have boats in need of troops and schooners in need of support as well as ground troops to finish the job! (and no way to do this without civilian support)
We need to take the fort for the cause! (and give those yanks a little attitude adjustment!) :-)
Come join us at Battle At Fort Knox!

Anybody Going
Hi to all Tophat here, So is anyone going to Ft Knox the weekend of August 29th? I see that there are several events at the fort fairly close to each other.I will be headed North about that time and was wondering if it would be worth leaving the South a little sooner so that I could attend it with you.
The other part of the question and the reason for my numbers request. This year I will be driving up and plan to have my trailer in tow, would it be worthwhile to bring the sutlery with me to set up at the fort?
I appreciate your assistance with this trip planning request!
Stay Safe!
Tophat
