I succeded in fixing the problem I created with the event list on MaineMilitia.com and I loaded the upcoming events I am aware of. I have a few minor details still to sort out but all in all the calendar is working fine. I'm much releaved!

Since I did the upgrade tot he website back in January, the upcoming events list has been broken. I thought I could get it fixed this weekend and then up-to-date. Well, I thought wrong. It's still not like how I want it.
So in the mean time, I'm going to load a Google Calendar with all the info and maintain that. The downside is that, at the moment, I am th eonly one who can edit the calendar. New Events will not appear in the celndar until I add them. This is really pretty minor since few people are adding events anyway.

As most of you know, today was one of those inclement weather days that allows some of us to stay home. I've been meaning to upgrade the MaineMilitia.com website for a month or so. Today seemed like a good day!
If you detect a "but" missing at the end of the previous paragraph then you would be correct. This is one of those occasions when I am reminded of lessons I tell other people to follow and then in a moment of stupidity I ignore myself.
Lesson 1: when upgrading a website, always test on a copy before attempting on the live site.
