This year marks the 23rd year of the 29th Georgia founding and 20th year since it's incorporation. The unit orginally grew out of the 20th Maine which was founded 1984, to provide a counterpart to the Federal impression.
To day we held elections and we are please to announce the results for two years.
Dick Deshane was voted in as the new President.
Patti Gillway remained the treasurer
Will Gillway was voted in as Secretary Clerk
We wish them well.

We have been discussing the events we want to do. Still have to get some dates for Fort Knox and will be attending Norland's in June. We are looking at some regional events that we haven't been to before as well as old ones like Brickhouse. Dick or I will get the list to you as soon as it develops. We are planning to have a table at the Ancient One's show.
This a change for me, because I was responsible for so much over the years...I have to keep reminding myself "It's not my job anymore!" Still going to be helping out though, mostly with communication and newsletters. We decided to keep the same rank structure but refrain from wearing unless we have the men on the field. At present this doesn't appear to be an issue but we'll see when the season begins how many actually report for duty.lol
