Hello all,
I wanted to take a minute to make a brief announcement..... After much concideration and debate, the wife and I have decided to move on. We will be moving to North Carolina within the next few months. This was a VERY hard decision, but with the way the economy and the over all state of the State of Maine we feel it's best that we get out now. I wanted to say thank you to all those that made me feel right at home in the reenacting community in Maine. Even after an 8 year break, I felt as though I had never left. I will miss you all and hope that we may meet up around a camp fire down in the "true" south ( even you bluebellys ).
Regards

And once again I will Say to
And once again I will Say to you good luck, as I saw your post first on the liberty Greys messages. but here I will ask do you already have a job lined up? or are you going to be taking the plunge like I did in Moving back home to Maine and just show up and look for a job(it was either stupidity on my part or that pioneering spirit....most say stupidity)
North Carolina Seems to be the place for the past 20 years for whole businesses to go to. the Charlotte area and the science triangle have been booming....and if you need really good quality health care you have got Duke university( just ask Ted Kennedy) and dare I say ghosts abound in NC for your other hobby.
So if I dont see you before you go
May the wind be at your back
may the sun be in your face
and may god hold you in the palm of his hand.
Fair winds and following seas,
Seamus

Will be missed!
Wow, Jason, I'm very sorry to hear this. But I'm happy for you and hope that all works out for you.
Definitely seems like a great place to go though. NASCAR, Civil War and paranormal should be able to get you into some trouble. ;) I mean that in the best way!
You are always welcome around the website. Bon voyage!

Did someone say ghosts?
I love watching TAPS on the Sci Fi channel and wasn't even a believer until I saw some of their footage...
Franklin TN has Carnton Plantation...considered the most huanted house in TN
Best Wishes on your new home in the South

Ghosts
Awesome CMRIP site. I think you were at Norlands one time when the Third Maine was there. What happens to CMRIP without ya?
I was at Shiloh, at dusk with a light snow. Now that place needs investigation!
