A way in to the 145th GB?
Hello everyone. I haven't reenacted in several years, but vowed to make it back out this summer. I was hoping to head to the 145th Gettysburg, but last weekend made it to the website and found registration closed 4/30 and that there would be no walk ons. Anyone know how to attend the event despite the fact it seems they've shut the doors? Any tips? Backdoors?
Reading this forum I also saw the other GB event, At High Tide, in late June. That looks promising, as well. Are there people going to that one? I'm interested in talking about car pooling options if anyone is planning on making it down.

I am not sure if this door
I am not sure if this door has closed but I think you can substitute one person for another but that has a deadline as well so you may want to check the site again. If you know a group that has people registered that cant make it. you can see if you can be subsituted. thats the beuty of smaller events they still let walk-ons....
