Greetings,
The 2008 Chester Greenwood Ear Muff Parade was the first official gathering of the 17 Degrees of Friendship Battalion. The day was cold (17 degrees) and windy (15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph) with wind chill at a -10 degrees but the hot chocolate & donuts at Matt's apartment was as warm and delightful as the friendship gathered there.
I wish to thank Matt, Rick, Dave & Monica, Doug, Deb and our confederate friends of the 15th Alabama Mike & Robbie. It was a great parade with a firing line of 5 infantry and a officer, 2 Field Music, and a civilian with her daughter. The crowd was smaller (+/- 700 in the downtown area) this year but very enthusiastic.
I am now home rooting for NAVY and NAVY is ahead... a wonderful ending to a wonderful day.

Chester Greenwood Parade on wcsh 6.com
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that there is a video on the parade on wcsh6.com. It's on the front page. I checked it out. It's neat. It has footage of you guys marching. I think that's neat to be on TV!!!!
But anyways just wanted to let you know that. If anyone has any info for me on rifle cleaning or precussion caps that would be great. Thanks and be careful in the storm tomorrow
Sincerely and Respectfully,
