Well its pretty much over for this year, the tents have been struck(sic) the musket has been stripped and cleaned, and alot of other gear is been put away. It has Been a dynamic season for us, new friends made, old alliances rebuilt, and a few new members. Some old members have gone into inactive status but when they are ready they will be back from time to time. Now as we all settle into the fall, looking forward to feasts of turkey and the other delights of the holiday season, I look back and look forward.....we still have some things to do over the winter.....
1. Do we want to once more try and resurect the kitchen conferences? primary focus: first person impression and living history scenarios...Lets put some varnish on the ideas and make em stick.
2. Chester greenwood day....Craig brought that forward via e-mail who else wants to fall in...?
3. Camden snow bowl...Id like to get the contact info maybe put togeather a team.....
4. Toys for tots....I am going to start e-mailing the marines and see if we can get one weekend where we show up and try to collect......dual purpose good deeds and possible recruiting.....
Thats it for me does anyone else have any Ideas?
Seamus
