Train Raid duex part duex
IT dawned a slighty cool and semi cloudy sky when I saddled up the fourrunner.......
ok we got down in portland about 8:50 and there waiting was Tom Bassford,Ben Patton, Chris nulle and his daughter, Dick Cyclik(sic) and wife deb Bergeron and children and another lady I must have her name but It now escapes Me....Bad with names am I I was there with my Wife and child and as we were waiting for the train to pull out, Steve Henry Arrived as did two more members of my group and Lets not Forget Mr Joe!
I was also Expecting Rick Bray and a possible Tom Chandel(missed ya Tom!)
To say the least it was once again a great day weatherwise(as it usually is) and after it was all over a great time seemed to have been had by all We were repulsed from the train twice and the last time we perished in a blaze of glory.........Id like to hear from the participants their views and expierences......
and next year maybe we can have three railroad events Deb!

Payroll Train Raid
I think this was as much fun as you could have and still be legal.
I think the women had as much fun if not more than the military of both sides.
Yes, you were driven off a couple of times, but you did manage, through your superior strenght, to obtain our dispatches and payroll.
I would have gladly given you both to have gotten a picture of (Sgt) Steve Henry's face when he took a swig of my wifes water (mint flavored) after his near fatal wound. Even still Deb was able to pull him through.
