IT lacks a certain bit of mystery if you have to schedule the raid on the train with the train but what the hey its only a play of sorts, and the plays the thing(or so we have been told)
So once again I am looking for a few good men and women to enjoy a nice view of the harbor and ride a couple of hundred miles of narrow track(only thing is its the same two miles over and over)
SO ask your friends that have done the deed wether or not the 15th bites.(I dont much) and send me e-mails with your intentions on blue or grey or civilian....The best part of being a civilian is your alligence could change from train to train....
So now to the brass tacks..
WHERE........pORTLAND NARROW GAUGE RAILROAD AND MUSEUM
WHEN.........SEPT. FIRST
WHAT..........MOCK MOSBY MAURAUDING, BRING YOUR WEAPON, A LUNCH AND YOUR IMAGINATION
WHY?.........WHY THE HELL NOT?
Its good for the museum, and its fun for us....once again I get enough blue we can alternate trains who wins and who limps......Some will tell you I have offered with only two or three....so lets put this in our minds..
who knows you might have fun.................

Future looks bleak, you could help.
I wish I could make it but going to Conn. that weekend. Sorry.
But I would like to encourage others to consider support the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum because they have a tough future ahead of them. They have recently been told they will have to start paying rent soon. And I fear they will have a tough time making ends meet.
Have fun!

right there....
Its a great endevor to have a museum and its unfortunate location helps and hurts. being nestled in among a working boatyard it makes it almost a mystery but the train runns along some nice sites....we always figured if we did this enough with some kind of press it might draw more riders...not a whole lot of money but at least more...For those who may have any doubts, we dont get paid for this we do It as "volunteers" every time we turn around it seems an other historic site or thing is endangered, I wonder if we really got orginized we could help out more.....
