Account SPAMing
The website has had many many attempts at SPAM recently. So for the time being I have turned off automatic user creation. New users can still create an account and validate their email. But new users don't become active until I approve them.
Sorry for this inconvenience, but there is evil in the world and I must take steps to keep the smut from our tiny hovel here. In most cases the delay will only be a handful of hours.
