
I have been looking for documents of the period online so I can manufacture some for the look at living history events and also there were some ideas at the lincoln RI event to inculde the public in our living histories so the arent just walking by like we are some kind of moving diarama, but on a search i keep running into the same things gettysburg address, articles of secession, etc. any tips on where to look for reports and forms like that? enlist ment papers bonds and so forth?

Thanks marc, Ive got the files ok...and Stephen unlessyour brother gets the documents at the wal-mart division of antiques I am afraid I will have to pass on orginal stuff.....but thanks for the offer, but right now I cant afford it. unless he could just send me scanned copies, that I can recreate on my computer....I basically need a template for forms that would be used during the war......specifically confederate but union forms can be doctored a bit without changing the spirt of the document..
