
So I went 59 hours without power, lost a large pine tree in the yard but am otherwise safe and sound.
We borrowed a generator on Wednesday night. Had it running for one hour when power got restored. :) That's irony!

up here on the hill I got snow once again....power was off from time to time, lost my phone for a few days.......had some furnace trouble and saw my mailbox buried once again.....not too bad in comparison but I would like to see the sun and maybe my yard.hopefully its pretty much done....I will take a washing rain after the snow has gone but only one day of it.......still stir crazy...

Ten inches of water in the basement due to a stuck switch on a sump pump while I was at work. Drying out nicely now though and no damage either.

So I spent the day today cutting up the tree that fell in my driveway and clearing it all way. My dad is the real chainsaw expert of course. And before we were done we decided to take down two trees that were heavily damaged and needed to come down. One old tree that should have come down years ago. And another just because of where it was.
What a way to spend Earth Day! Now I am ready for bed...
