Well enuf of the Ballyhoo! I have a serious question, I was shaving the other morn and slapped on my bay run and I began to wonder, now we have often made the remark from time to time "im a dapper dan man" in homage to the Film "Oh brother where art tho" but what kind of productus were availible to the 19th cent male? We have all seen the tooth powder and the lye soap and of course the crothch powder but were there special hair care products? in all seriousness where can one go for this info......
as we get into the brass tacks of life back then.....
