I was curious to know if Civil War re-enacting was the only kind everyone here has done.
Are there other types in Maine? For instance, Victorian and especially Pioneer re-enacting are common in other states.

Since no one has tried to answer this then I will try.
Personally, I do not. I have friends who do multiple genre and I have borrowed gear to join them once or twice but I don't have my own kit.
In my estimation, most Civil War reenactors and Living Historians in Maine don't. Some do. Some have migrated here from other time periods and some have migrated away from Civil War to other time periods.
Definately a mixed bag!
With that said though, there are definately intrests in other time periods in the state. And I'm sure within New England you could find just about anything you might have an interest in if you look hard enough.
