I started out this web page by just uploading photos of my April North Carolina trip this year. Yet, as I began to rediscover the amazing history and the stories of the places I visited, I again became a Tar Heel (on top of being a Texan-Mainer).
I added much more to the site than intended. The more I worked on the page, the more entranced I became with the region and the history all over again. You may discover while viewing this site how truly I fell in love with North Carolina and also how happy I was spending time with my family.
I constructed this page with the soul purpose to share with y'all. I hope you all enjoy it. It includes photos of my trip to North Carolina, stories of my experenses, and history of the incredible people and beautiful places. Many of these photos capture my wonderful family as well. You will also meet my nephew Josiah in some of the photos, who when those pictures were taken this April, was but a couple of weeks old.
Hopefully y'all will meet him again at future events someday!
