I am happy to report that the Fort Knox weekend was a success despite the rain on Saturday and low attendance of re-enactors.
Channel 7 came out and did a spectular job with reporting on the event. The Bangor Daily did a good job with some misquotes but the effect was the same I suppose.

Saturday was a bit more pleasurable due to a new recruit showing up to support us in uniform. He had his bit of shine in the news as well. Ms. Patti did bang up job with interviews and was shown three different times. They actually made our babbling idiot look like a scholarly Professor. Ah, the delights of movie magic!

Over the weekend there were scores of visitors that showed up to chat with us. Just one of those small fun events that comes around once in a while.
