I'm posting this for a friend. Her late husband had this rifle hanging in his study.
It's a Springfield Trapdoor Model 1884, dated 1893 (the last year they were made) and has it's bayonet. It's in good condition. Does need a good cleaning and minor rust removal. The trap door works very well and so does the hammer, trigger, and safety. She is a widow and would like to sell it. Lives in Auburn, Maine.
