Yesterday was a bright clear and warm day. Members of the 15th Al and 29th GVI converged in Winthrop for a joint drill session. We presented 10 on the field for a little light order drill and manual of arms. The venture went smooth and very well. I can not express the positive feeling of camaraderie in the ranks and my hopes that this may continue.
In May we will be attending the Camp Pratt school of instruction. Here we hope to not only expand our company drill knowledge but also our Battalion drill knowledge. Although Confederate in nature, it was discussed that if Yankee's attend...we won't turn them away. I very much look forward to our next drill.
It was good to see Rod and Ben again.
God bless Dixie!

wish I could have been there. But farm chores had to come first. I Kid I brought to farmington this last fall who was the drummer is still interested in being a member but is only fifteen and will most likely go to the events with me.

Nate, wish you were there as well. It was a grand time. Try to make it to Camp Pratt.
