For any of you that are interested in going to First Manassas and are looking to take a vacation after the event we have enough room for one more person. We will be leaving on Thursday 7-20-06 and coming home on 7-29-06.
We will try to follow this schedule
Thursday - Leave around 4:00 PM and drive all night
Friday thru Sunday - arrive at event and participate
Sunday night - Drive to Richmond Va.
Monday - Visit Museum of the Confederacy and spend a 2nd night in Richmond
Tuesday- go to Washington DC and spend the day
Wednesday - morning in DC then to CW medical museum then to Sharpsburg then to Gettysburg.
Thursday and Friday - Gettysburg
Saturday - Drive home

This is what we are planning on doing. We already have hotel reservations and have figured out a budget. We would need $ 400 for gas and hotels, everything else would be up to you. I would suggest at least another $1000 for food and fun and sutlers.
