Well I googoled "Militia" nd I can tell you I got the michagan militia and the antidefamination league, but I also got a powerlifting org and a animal rescue foundation and some living history sites,
theres something like 22 million hits and I dont have the time to go through them all but in the first two pages the Maine militia was nowhere to be found.....so givien the disparity of hits on Militia, I think its safe not to "go PC"
none of us want the hives....
Seamus
(did you see the black helicopters? I know I saw black helicopters! they were in whisper mode...i need to buy a copy of "catcher in the rye" excuse me...)

More bizzarre and unusual facts
Interesting test Mike,
From the server log end of things...
Absolute Unique Visitors in the last 30 days: 1,016
Average Daily Unique Vistors in the last 30 days: 51
Percent of repeat visitors: 62%
Now it should be explained that the Unique Visitor count is based upon individual IP addresses. So if I check from work and home then that is 2 counts. I suspect that there is a handful of us that do that. So perhaps that number needs to be cut by a third to be an accurate count of people and not computers.
But the repeat visitor count suggests that a bunch of people out there keep coming back, reading and not participating. These people intrigue me and I wonder who they are?
Anyway, there is clearly some "name recognition" already in place as you suggested. But it is worthy of further thought.
