While perusing the Äuthentic Campaigner" website, I came across this fabulous site for period currency that covers Colonial Period up to 1933. Each graphic has both front & back, if the real bill had both. It also has both Federal and Confederate examples covering 1862 and 1863. All one has to do is copy the image and then paste in WORD and if you run the same sheet thru the printer with a little experimentation, one can pring a really good looking bill with both sides in reasonable registration. I have experinemted with different grades of paper from newsprint to stationary and have achieved really good results. I have to do a little more research to discover the actual size of period bills, but that can be easily manipulated. For those who wish to have something period to put in the wallet for games of chance, or a payday scenario, this is the place to get started.

Nice site

Thanks Steve, that's a great reference for historic currency from many time periods. And I love you idea. I'll have to play around with this idea a bit myself.

Even a few hands of cards would be fun with fake money. Or having money available when the "local" civilians come around with goods for sale. Lots of good scenerio ideas could use some money.
