A couple of weeks ago I watched Gettysburg on TNT and was thrilled to find that it was the uncut version (the version not released as far as I know by dvd or vhs). In it includes longer scenes of General Reynolds, Hill, and Ewell. And also a scene where Bufford is talking to the citizens of Gettysburg.
One of the best scenes was when Lee was telling his aid, Walter Taylor that the soldier should respect the Key Stone state's property. This is a part I wish they had left in the release.
Does anyone know how I can obtain the uncut version from TNT?
I'm still awaiting word on the uncut version of Gods and Generals. It seems all but a reenactor's mirage.

Never released to DVD or VHS?

Zac, I have seen the scenes you mention and yet I don't think I have every sat and watched the movie on a TV broadcast? I've only watched it on DVD or VHS!

So I have to believe that at some time it was released with the extras in it. I just can't be sure who I was watching it with or what they were playing it from. It is possible that it was even the legendary "Editor's Cut" as it could have been at the home of one of the several people I know who are in this movie.

Good luck in your search!
