If there isnt any movement
If there isnt any movement on these items by the time of the kitchen cabinet I will take a look at them...Im a box addict...but I have a new trailer this year so boxes are the way to go...Im now thinking of finding one of those Amish wagons that you see popping up on peoples lawns for ornaments and turning it into a small scale "chuck wagon" or an ambulance to sit at the end of the company street..

I told Marc the same thing
Funny Mike, I emailed Marc and said if the boxes were still available by the time of the meeting then I might leave with one. Looks like part of the gathering will turn into an auction! :)

Thanks!
Thanks for the vote of confidence on the boxes, Will. I have some new ideas that I want to try out, but should clear out some as well. This includes a Mountain Howitzer ammo crate as I found dimensions on line from an artillery site...Plus, Lauren wants me to make some (modified) ammo boxes for use in the living room, which she wants to make my Civil War room (how cool is that?) But, she still won't buy into the idea of selling stuff to buy material to make her a camp dress is a good thin too. :-)

camp dress
Any time Lauren is ready for a camp dress let me know Mark it will be my gift to her. I am sure out of the over 100 bolts of period reproduction cotton I own one would make her very happy. It would be a joy to have another woman in camp to keep you boys in line. Hawks and Eagles Fly Like Doves CopperHeadAnnie
Thanks for the offer Laurie,
Thanks for the offer Laurie, the dress is the easy part - getting her in one would be the battle...lol. Beside, can't argue with the fact she supports my hobby from the sidelines.. :-)
A quick & easy way to start
Try buying her some period type jewelery. Earrings & necklaces are awfully fun for we ladies & you can find some civil war style bling at most department stores. If you get her something in her favorite color it makes it easier when you say "Hey I know a great seamstress who can make a dress to go with that". Good luck & let me know if you need help.

I sold a few of my items at the Kitchen Conference and I wanted to say Thank You to those who purchased items.
Mike - I still have that belt buckle - I had set it aside for you then forgot about it - will bring it to the Feb Conference.
