I am thankful for the compassion and spirit of my friends. The love and strength of my family. And the blessing and sacrifice of our lord.

There are many trials in our lives but there are many more signs of the bountiful fruits of life if you simply go looking for them.

May you all experience safe travel and plenty of laughter on this Thanksgiving Holiday. God bless you all.

I am thankful for family. I

I am thankful for family. I am thankful that I live on this beautiful continent, home of the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains. The land of Texas, Dixie, and the old west. I am thankful for my freedom and for my friends. I am most thankful for my savior, the One who guards all that I love. My God, Jesus Christ. He has given us this day of thanks but let us be thankful to Him everyday. He has given us family and friends to share today. As we join with those we love on this beautiful day in this beautiful land, let us give the greatest part of our thanks, through prayer.
I am spending this Thanksgiving with my sister, niece, and nephew down in North Carolina. That is where I am this evening. Am not sure how long I will be staying. My sister lives in an area that was burned by Sherman in 1865 and also housed a Confederate armory. The Fort Bragg.
I am sorry that I have not started with the recruiting project and writings, Mike. I have been so busy down here that I have hardly had time to get on my sister's computer. But I will do my best when some spare moments are offered.
My sister is sick and she is also pregnant. Her husband is deployed in Iraq. At such a time as this, when my sister's husband and her kid's father has been torn away when needed the most, I do my best to comfort this lonely family.
Please pray for my sister and her kids. Her husband Leslie will be coming home next October. After ten years in the army he considering to not reenlist if the war continues.
This Thanksgiving please pray for our men and women who are serving over seas who are unable to be with family these holidays. Please pray for Leslie's safe return home. He has served his country and now longs to be with his family again.
God bless you all this Thanksgiving. And remember that thanks is owed to God, Creator of all the joy, love, freedom, and hope in this world.

I am thankful for so much,

I am thankful for so much, and thankful for everything this past year has offered and challanged me with.

I am thankful for family, friends and love. For having work and for having hobbies.

I am also thankful that all 125 members of my unit, as of a few days ago were home on American soil from their deployment to the Sandbox. That they came all came home safely, most of all.

I pray for your unit as

I pray for your unit as well. I watched this show last night titled "off to war." and I bout cried! What is very sad though is that most of the soldiers there were very unhappy with the situation. They hate the people, hate the land, and miss their families. My heart goes out to them. Though today is not Thanksgiving, I feel nothing but thanks for the men and women who serve, not only in the invasion force but also who serve in Germany and all other parts of this world. Again, I will pray for your unit, that they may all return safely to the land they serve.
