Round table

copperheadannie's picture

Mike if this is not what forum I need to post this in please move it. A few months ago we talked about having a winter round table so we could all work on our reenacting skills. Is anyone still up for the idea. I fell asleep last night reading letters from the civil war era and thought how much knowledge they have given me over the years and how much insight they have given me into the hearts souls and heads of the men and woman that wrote them. And to tell you the truth guys I have no one to cook for and I just bought 2 civil war cook books. So what does every one think? CopperHeadAnnie All is well that ends well

Gret Idea!

yep its a great one. but with the coming holidays maybe we should schedlulde it for Jan. but a round table of skills and such would be a good idea to keep the rust off us and keep up a sort of kinship within the community....

As a newbie...

As a newbie, I need as much practice as I can get. But then, as an accountant, the January-April "tax season" is a tough time to break away, but I might be able to find a few hours on a Sunday or two. It does sound like a great idea.

Personnally I like it

It's a hard thing to line up though. With everyone scattered so much through the state. Maybe it could be a floating roundtable. Everyone interested could take turns in hosting. But it really should be something we consider once the holidays are over. Christmas can be stressful enough without trying to figure out how to get a diverse pack of re-enactors together.
