September 18th was election day for the 15th Alabama. Though we have corporate elections every year, it is only every two years that military elections are included.
We held the elections at Seamus'and his wife, Vicky's, home.
Under the silent vigil of a framed painting of Stonewall Jackson and with veggies and dip on our laps, the election proceeded.
Vicky P was elected madam president
Mike P was elected captain
I was elected secretary
Susan L was elected Treasure
Sharon P was elected historian
Tom B was reelected as our color corporal
Rod Brents was elected as our 1st sgt.
Matt L was elected as quarter master
Congratulations to Vicky, Mike, Susan, Matt, Tom, Sharon, and Rod! Except for Tom, these posts are being filled by first timers. We can expect great things from these ladies and gentlemen.
We will show our gratitude and respect for our old captain, Bim Hansen, by continuing to honor our heritage and for the lessons and blessings he shared with us. We pray that he may be safe where his work leads him.
I trust in God and know that He will inspire each heart to serve the 15th with the best of our ability.
Seamus can finally put a couple more bars on that fine coat of his!

CONGRATS!
Congrats to all electees and to the 15th as a whole! I hope Bim is at least gonna hang out from time to time!

I once cooked a goose for
I once cooked a goose for christmas dinner, that really resembled the turkey in that movie.....but it tasted good! Moral of the story, dont leave a goose in the oven even shut off to keep it warm while the other dishes catch up to it....and stick to the standing rib roast!
Save the livers!

And don't forget, don't
Lest us not forget, don't Christmas wrap the cat. And don't let the cat near the pudding (although cousin Eddy doesn't mind).
