My brogans of foour years had a serious blowout at ryegate. does anyone know a good cobbler?
within reasonalble distance of Farmington?

I would think most towns have a shoe place... hell Maine is like Shoe central! I know we have one in Saco... I'd think most local Cobblers would LOVE the opportunity to try to use the old techniques of their trade.

There's one in Augusta
There is a cobbler in August on Water stree that does repairs for Fort Western. I recently gave a pair of Brogans to a new recruit and he brought them there to be repaired. There is also on on Lisbon St in Lewiston, Sugar Bear Shoe Repair. Try giving them a call.
