Thought I would pass this along incase anyone was interested.

Civil War Lecture Series this fall hosted by

Victoria Mansion and Pejepscot Historical Society!

This fall Victoria Mansion will collaborate with the Pejepscot Historical Society to feature two lectures on the Civil War by Colonel Alexander Shine, soldier and noted Civil War scholar. The first lecture, Slavery, Race, and the Causes and Results of the American Civil War will be hosted by Victoria Mansion and will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. Reception to tour the Mansion and meet Col. Shine from 5:30-6:30 will preceding the lecture (tour and reception part of lecture fee).

The second lecture, Citizen Soldiers: BG Joshua Chamberlain, USA and LTG. J. B. Gordon, CSA will be hosted by the Pejepscot Historical Society in Brunswick and held at People Plus, 6 Noble Street on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. Reception immediately following the lecture at People Plus.

$12 for each lecture, $10 for each lecture for members of Pejepscot Historical Society and Victoria Mansion.
