It was suggested that perhaps a seperate forum for ride share info could be started. Specifically for reenacting related events. However, I decided that with gas prices the way they currently are perhas putting this in the Miscellaneous Discussion category might allow for a general exchange of car-pooling info if anyone is looking for something like that.
Feel free to offer feedback to me if necessary.
The guidlines for this are easy. Post you availability or your need. Once your seats are filled or your need settled then post that so that others no your issue is settled.

Oct. 8 & 9 - Brickhouse Reenactment, Montgomery, NY
I'm looking to ride-share with someone to Brickhouse. I'm in Topsham but could meet at any convenient Park & Ride nearby if necessary. Willing to split gas and tools. Would prefer to ride with someone else as my old car seats are uncomfortable on a long haul. I travel light. Two bags and tent poles.

On Brick House
At the moment I am not planning to go to Brickhouse but that might change. Now if I can get the time off. If not, I might only go for till Saturday noon. It is still a ways off. I will say some of my more interesting experiences have been at BrickHouse. I have rated it a 4 1/2 star event though last year was more of a 3 of five possible.

I would also like to ride/share to Brickhouse and to the baseball game at Livermore. I am on my "spare" car now, and may or may not have my other car out of the shop this week, so I, too, am looking for rides now.
