Just a note of thanks and best wishes to the Maine reenacting community. My son Ben and I are privates in Company B of the 20th Maine, but we have had to return to CT for school. During the summer, we have greatly enjoyed camping, marching, and serving on the field of honor with the men and women of the 3rd Maine, the 4th Maine, the 29th Georgia, and the 15th Alabama, in addition to our own Company B.
To all Maine reenactors, many thanks for a great summer, best wishes for the cooler months, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
