Time out for some fun:
Craig sent bunch of us this. I thought it was kind of fun, in a silly fantastic sort of way.
The Which Historic General Are You Test
http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=13827291814577368116
My results said I am closest to Edmund Kirby Smith
I scored 68 Wisdom, 50 Tactics, 64 Guts, and 48 Ruthlessness!
So who are you?

Geo. McClellan
I can't remember the scores but it was in the 70's for wisdom and tactics but mid 50's for guts and ruthlessness. This was interessing being that I was killing the enemy left and right in such questions. I wonder how it will change with more sleep, (functioning on 4 hours at the moment)
They didn't give a grand review of McClellan.

Ruthless?
Wow, I must be a sick ruthless bastard compared to the rest of you fellas. To much of the Ghengis Khan school of diplomacy I guess. :)

I took it and got the kirbmiester here as well
I scored high in the wisdom, but I dont remember the percentages, I felt some of the questions were too specific and if you knew anything about history, you would know how to answer it get the "right" outcome because you knew if that course of action was a winning course or not...
But it was fun to take it.

Thanks, now I don't feel so evil. Knowing there are a few others that won't take prisoners makes it feel okay. :)
Egads Doc, remind me never to knock over your dipper into the fire and spill your breakfast. Ruthlessness of 75! You must be despicable. Good thing your on our side.

Wouldn't spare their mother
Someone with a 92 ruthlessness probably wouldn't spare their mother if there was no tactical advantage. I feel down right humane at a 42!

Grant here my least favorite
Grant here my least favorite of the Generals Oh well tomorrow is another day to improve my tactics. I already knew that I had guts by blazes I did not know I was that ruthless I do believe in taking no priseoners they eat to much. Well anyway made it up to Maine ok. Took some great pics in Gettysburg that I will down load and share with any one if they came out good. I think the pic of Longstreet will be the best.
Well its an internet
Well its an internet test....I was looking on that same site and some of the other tests.....well....do you have gaydar? I mean really! Ive done little quizes like that and found which lotr character I was(Gandalf) and which fish in the tank I was most like in "Finding Nemo"..(gill) Its a fun diversion but I wouldnt belive that the Doc would raid the village and throw the roman babies in the fire....unless he was really really hungry....

It's silly fun
I agree Mike, it's just silly-fun. Doesn't really mean anything. Most of those are created by someone who was sitting around with their buddies drinking and laughing and creating the survey. Can you imagine how such a thing would turn out of you and I created the "Which Civil War battle is your spouse most like?" questionaire?
I thought it would be a nice diversion...

Which civil war battle would
Which civil war battle would my spouse be? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
thats a dangerous one open to alot of interpetations.
antietam= a bloddy stalemate, with no clear winner
Fredricksburg= cold and fridgid with a bleak outlook and a retreat
gettysburg= three hot days of action, with a wet withdrawal from the area...
one shouldnt compare women with battles....or one my find oneself reenacting in the back yard....out in the dog tent.

Uh oh...
I've bowed to pressure & taken the test. Maineman, we're peas in a pod. I'm Hannibal as well. Which means with CopperHead being Grant, the Nancy Harts will out-tactic & out-ruthless the lot of you. My,my Captain Cotton, aren't you glad we're on the side of the true & grey?

Test
You may be Hannibal and God be with me I may be Grant but one thing is for sure our men will never go hungry. We could always cook the pet turkey and hold the British at gun point. Long live the Nancy Harts and long stand the state of GA. All is well that ends well CopperHeadAnnie
Thank you Craig and Mike for
Thank you Craig and Mike for that interesting test. Here are my results.. OHHH DEAR. King Edward I. I've got a gay son and a naughty Scotland on my hands. FREEEDOM!
King Edward I
You scored 74 Wisdom, 68 Tactics, 56 Guts, and 49 Ruthlessness!
Or rather, King Edward the Longshanks if you've seen Braveheart. You, like Edward, are incredibly smart and shrewd, but you win at any costs.... William Wallace died at his hands after a fierce Scottish rebellion against his reign. Despite his reputation though, Longshanks had the best interests of his people at heart. But God help you if you got on his bad side.
(honestly I wish I got ole Kirby Smith. Congratulations Mike and Mike!)
re=test
Ok I could not live with being akin to Grant so I took the test again. Hell I mine as well go be the leader of the Spartans. I thought maybe now that the divorce is all over and I do not have a real bad case of PMS{you know guys that stands for Putting Up with Male Sh.......} maybe my General skills had soften. NOT I am now that battle harden Vercingetorix the leader of the Gauls. 66 wisdom 54 tatics 56 guts and 90 ruthlessness. I say bring on the Romans I shall burn them in the fields.......... oh well I shall return to my sewing and thank God that I was born a woman.I would have set the world on fire in the middle of the cold war. All is well that ends well. When I go to the grave I shall know that I would have been the most ruthless General of all. CopperHeadAnnie
Someone please remind me...
to doff my hat, bow slightly, and step out of the way the next time CopperHeadAnnie approaches.
Thank you,

Interesting...
They haven't even met you & here they're already scared . Sounds like your work here has only just begun Annie m' girl. I've already got the Georgia boys scared of me. Wonder what they'll do when we're armed & even more dangerous? Hmm. Maybe I should try this general test again. Work on my ruthlessness. Just remember what Teddy said "Speak softly & carry a big stick" or should that be hat pin?~Miss Patti

so I re-tested
And I blame You CopperHead. All right boys, I just couldn't be satisfied until I tried it again. And Rebel Chaplain, I suggest you watch those long legs of yours. I am William Wallace.
70 wisdom
69 tactical
71 guts
49 ruthlessness
Like William Wallace, chances are you have no problem charging a larger, better trained, better equipped, better armed and armored English army with a band of naked drunken Scotsmen. I'm not contesting that you have balls. It's your brain function I'm worried about.
Ah me da will be proud. After all, William's mother was a member of my clan. This re-testing is fun. Although I doubt Mike will be doffing & bowing when he sees me. ~Miss Patti

I shall not admit to these boys yet about the very fem side of the old warrior here. But I can say my Sister that you will be ready to join your clan with pride as your Kinsale cloak is off my machine and I have added a clan clasp and am working on the bad weather hood. Guard the turkey Pattie from the British hide the "Got it off a dead Yankee that just plundered a burning plantation" silver tea survice. Hold your head up high and lets all sing a verse or two of the Bonnie Blue Flag. For it is off to the "Fort" we go. Long live the Nancy Harts long stand the state of GA. CopperHeadAnnie
U. S. Grant
After finially finnishing the test I was pretty impressed at the result. With the stats: You scored 75 Wisdom, 58 Tactics, 64 Guts, and 49 Ruthlessness! I was happy about the wisdom and guts scores, I think thats key in battle... But this was a great test, THANKS MIKE!
Cpl. Matt
CopperheadAnne can't settle
CopperheadAnne can't settle with grant. Ah, she has my heart!
In light of the test results from my second round at the general test (Ulysses S. Grant
You scored 81 Wisdom, 56 Tactics, 62 Guts, and 47 Ruthlessness) I reluntantly would like to share with you all some information that I have done my best to keep a family secret for a long time. But I am sure my rebel breathern may forgive me! My Mom was adopted when she was just a baby. Her brother is.......General Grant's great great grand newphew.
Patti aka Wallace, I'll be seeing you at Falkirk
Zac...
Yer goin to fight at Falkirk????
