Well, version 4 of MaineMilitia.com is up and running. New version of Drupal running in the background. A different theme, but one that still requires some customization to make it a little unique to this site. And better organization.

Better organization? Well, I'm not happy with it yet. It's just not what I feel is best. the problem with feelings is that it's sometimes difficult for me to express exactly what I would like. And then getting the content management system to present it the way I envision.

I love the fact that I can assign multiple categories to a single piece of content. So the best way to work with this concept seems to be to create one vocabulary with all the categories and sub-categories in it. Then simply assign a pice of content to all the categories and sub-categories that apply.

The problem that arises is that some content types display poorly if they are not assigned to unique vocaularies. Image galleries for instance just don't work they way I want unless they have their own vocabularies. And I am starting to think that weblinks are going to be the same.

I was hoping to treat all content equally for organization reasons. Now I have to do some experimentation and see if it will present better with seperate vocabularies.
