Great resource
That's awesome! A terrific resource of primary source material of Maine's contribution to the Civil War.
I can't seem to download Campaigning With the Sixth Maine or The Life and Public Services of William Pitt Fessenden, Volume 2. Is anyone else getting a "page you requested cannot be found" error?
I don't mean to sound critical of the State's efforts for the Sesquicentennial, but it's a shame someone didn't OCR the scans to make them searchable from within the PDF document. Fortunately, most of these books are available online at Google Books. http://www.google.com/books
There are also many other gems at Google Books, including "History of the Fourth Maine battery, light artillery, in the civil war".
Still, it's nice to see the state doing something!
