Ladies and Gentlemen~

I bring to your attention a situation that can use our support. Having grown up 8 miles from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT, I can tell you from first hand experience that a Casino is not the positive affect some would lead you to believe. Just ask my parents who still live in the house I grew up in and have a tax burden that is unimaginable.

If you have not visited Living History Worldwide, there's a lot of information and networking there. If you do not have a facebook account, it is really quite simple and you would be surprised how many of us are actually there. (if you need help, let me know and I can walk you through how to sign use it). If you have a facebook and we've not connected yet, my email for it is christabell.rose@yahoo.com. See you there!

Warmest Regards,
~Miss Rose

                     Gettysburg Eyed for Casino Again!!!

An Adams County businessman who was
behind an effort to bring a slot machine casino to
Gettysburg in 2005 is trying his luck for a second time.

David LeVan has an option to buy on the Eisenhower Inn and Conference Center and is trying to get a bill written permitting him to get a "resort casino" license with 500 slots and table games.

This is an adult oriented business in a family friendly
tourist  destination. It is 1/2 mile from the Gettysburg National
 Military Park, US.

If you're on Facebook, please show support and join our group. Plus find out how
 you can help prevent this.
