I was wondering how many of you may have checked out, A Confederate Yankee: The Journal of Edward William Drummond, A Confederate Soldier From Maine. It was published by the UT Press, a part of the Voices of the Civil War Series.

This may came a little late for most but Having talked on the phone with the orginizers there is an event this weekend which will find itself with an unusual aspect.....the union being outnumbered by the confederates.

I know this is far away, but I am offering a ride to any 3rd Mainer who needs one to the 145th Gettysburg in July. I have a seven passanger van with a tow hitch that can haul up to seven thousands pounds.

Hello everyone. I haven't reenacted in several years, but vowed to make it back out this summer. I was hoping to head to the 145th Gettysburg, but last weekend made it to the website and found registration closed 4/30 and that there would be no walk ons. Anyone know how to attend the event despite the fact it seems they've shut the doors? Any tips? Backdoors?

Well as we all may have guessed, it rained and once again contrary to the weather report.
